Ashe Woodworking was commissioned to build all the custom furniture for the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. This monolithic wall is made of mahogany and is 7' tall x 12' wide with a 12' radius. It was designed by James Edwards of Edwards Associates Architects in Raleigh, NC. While standing at the wall reading the verse aloud the person speaking can hear an echo due to the shape of the wall, creating the sensation that the words are coming from all directions. |
